A group of 810 scouts took a fall trip to enjoy the Survivor Camporee at Firelands Scout Reservation. It was a busy weekend of one event after another trying to accumulate as many points as possible. In the evening the temperature dipped to let us test the worthiness of our sleeping bags. The days were sunny and pleasant. Some of the events included fishing, marksmanship, a scavenger hunt, frisbee toss, deal or no-deal, and even eating bugs. For another challenge at least two of our patrol members had to take an item(egg) to get checked in multiple times over the weekend. For our first year attending the event we did fairly well placing 5th among over 20 patrols. When the next one comes around we'll be ready to survive. Those attending were Anthony, Dominic, Vincent, Christian, Mark, Sam, Seth, Andrew, Ian, Mr. Botzman, Mr. Makowski, Mr. Radd, and Mr. Smith.
