We had an excellent weekend for the Camporee being held at Camp Stigwandish. The weekend was jam packed with fun activities and competitions. Some of the activities included Rifle Shooting, Metalworking, Canoe Lashing, and a Scavenger Hunt. The Scavenger Hunt had a big list and unlike other patrols we were able to find two difficult items, historical Standing Rock and the Abandoned Chapel. We finished a respectable 2nd place out of 12 in the scored activities during the camporee. There was even a service project where we trimmed trees, cleaned up brush, and the adults split some wood. It was the 90th anniversary of Camp Stigwandish and they had an interesting presentation on the history of the camp. There is no doubt it was a full weekend with great fun and great food, especially the Philly Steak Sandwiches we prepared for lunch. The troop also took care of the evening flag ceremony by retiring the color for the day. Those joining in fun were Sam, Drew, Mark, Andrew, Tom, Michael, Mr. Wrabel, Mr. Kneblewicz, and Mr. Radd.
