The troop held their 50th Anniversary Celebration at the pavilion in The Fields of Broadview Heights. The celebration started off with a short flag ceremony led by Kyle, and introduction by Mr. Botzman and then an invocation by Fr. Justin. With that completed it was time to enjoy the food and festivities. Our grill specialists worked tirelessly to cook hamburgers and hot dogs. Just about everyone came with a dish to share. There was a display of old handbooks and photos albums. Some tried their hand at playing corn hole, frisbee, or catching a football. It was good seeing scouts and leaders from the past and present get together and share stories. Many thanks go out to the adult leaders that helped to plan and execute this event. Perhaps this will become a troop tradition for the future.
